The Architect

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Cambridge. The food is always delicious and well-presented, they have a very good wine selection, and their service is excellent. They certainly work hard at providing a top-notch dining experience.

Asked for a table by the window and had a beautiful view. My friends loved the view and most importantly the food! The pork looks beautiful and tastes delicious!

Been here a few times, location and views are lovely day or night. Quite pricey.

Best fish and chips in Cambridge. A must visit pub with a small but perfectly formed menu which serves fantastic small plates and incredible pies and fish for mains with a selection of sides and sauces. Very fresh, tasty and delicious. We paired the food with an ale, but the cocktails also looked great. Friendly and energetic staff who created a wonderful fun and lively atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone.

Pub Perfection! 

Our second visit here and definitely worth the return! Great idea, pick your fish or pie then choose all the sides and extras. The fish and chips were cooked well and really tasty. The pie and mash were the best. Fast friendly service and a great atmosphere

My friend was leaving work after 15 years of working together so I wanted something special as his leaving do.  He used to absolutely love the corned beef hash from the blue lion in Hardwick but the owners had moved on so that wasn’t a possibility… or was it..?  I managed to find that one of the cooks from the blue lion now worked at the architect, so I thought ‘why not let’s take a punt’ and sent an email over to them not really expecting a reply. But to my amazement they did reply, confirmed that the chef did indeed work for them and would make the dish! I was bowled over!  So last night we went over for a memorable meal. I’ll never forget his happy little face when he saw his favourite dish again. It was perfect. Everyone was super happy with their delicious fish and pies and the service was lovely.  If I could give them six stars I would.  (P.s. you should put the corned beef hash on the menu!!)
